Teasy was started in 2007 behind the idea that the American public is not being exposed to quality tea. This notion came about after Jason Dalrymple came back to the U.S. after living and traveling throughout China. After seeing the difference between the tea culture in China and the U.S. and the importance placed on quality of tea leaves in China, he decided he would start his own tea company with this focus at the forefront.

In addition to selling quality tea, Teasy sells teaware that allows the tea drinker to see the tea leaves unfurl in the hot water, right in front of them. This is another aspect of tea that not many people are aware of or take advantage of, the aesthetic beauty of the full leaves infusing the water.
